Hello everyone. I have put this blog together for the unit Youth, Popular Culture & Texts. This is the first blog i’ve made and I hope you enjoy reading some of my posts.
A little bit about me….
My name is Larissa and I completed my teaching degree (Primary) at the University of Wollongong in NSW. After teaching there, I then traveled to Western Australia where I taught for several years before moving to Queensland. I have been teaching in Queensland schools for over five years and am currently teaching as a District Teacher Librarian. This means I move across four different schools a year working in the library. I enjoy using technology and teaching with it. I love how innovative, creative and engaging technology can be. It is this shift in learning, adapting and changing to the 21st century that has led me to pursue a career as a teacher-librarian.
